Balluta Bay

Balluta Bay has a tiny sandy beach with light green waters and is located on the north east coast of Malta. The sliver of sand in Balluta Bay is mostly visible during low water levels during summer and has a rocky shoreline with plenty of flat rocks to sunbathe on, with clear waters excellent for swimming, water sports and snorkelling. The bay is also a popular diving spot for beginners, since it has a sandy seabed. The beach in Balluta Bay is located just below the popular promenade that stretches from Sliema to St. Julian’s and is very popular for brisk walks or light strolls all year round. The beach is just in front of the beautiful neo-gothic Carmelite Parish Church with several shops and restaurants close by.
