Esplora aims to bring science to life and is particularly aimed at making science an interactive learning experience in Malta. Something you will not see in Esplora, is a sign saying “Do not touch”. Interaction is encouraged and expected!
The exhibit halls are spread out over three floors, accessible either via lifts or the impressive helical staircase. Exhibits deal with a wide variety of different aspects of science, including;

The lift will soon be in operation again, taking visitors down to sea level. Esplora’s Planetarium building features a colourspace 4K theatre, hosting entertaining and educational shows about Earth, the Solar System, space and the Universe. The Planetarium also thirteen interactive exhibits relating to the Universe we live and covers extra-terrestrial life and the International Space Station amongst other subjects. Various science shows will also be held in this area. More adventurous explorers will love the outdoor activity area, which features interactive water tanks, giving hands-on fun! Also here are interactive sound exhibits, rotating illusions and an adventure area.
