San Blas Bay is a small, yet very pretty and tranquil beach set in secluded and green countryside at the end of beautiful valleys on Gozo’s northeast coast. The sand at San Blas Bay has the same reddish-orange colour and rocky landscape as that of Ramla Bay, making this beach special and unique as well. What makes San Blas Bay less crowded and more peaceful than Ramla Bay is that it is more secluded and that the final part of the road leading down to San Blas Bay has been closed to traffic as it is very steep. Visitors therefore have to proceed to the beach by walking down a steep hill. San Blas Bay has very clear and beautiful waters and it’s perfect for snorkelling around the rocks and boulders on the side of the bay. The sandy beach at San Blas Bay is also perfect for families and for having picnics in an unspoiled surrounding.
