The beautiful Villa Rundle Public Gardens is located in Victoria, Gozo, in the lower part of Republic Street. The gardens were planted by and named after the British General Leslie Rundle around 1915 and have a large variety of local and imported trees such as ficus nitida and Canary Palms offering shade from the hot sun during summer.

In the middle of Villa Rundle Gardens there is a fountain offering tranquillity and making it a great place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing in Gozo. To the bird lovers’ joy, the gardens also have a birdhouse with different colourful birds.
